We may collect information you provide directly, such as your name, email address, account details, and any profile information or business card content you choose to create in the app. We may also collect technical and device information that supports app functionality and service improvement.
How We Use Information
We may use information to operate the app, personalize your experience, save your business card content, support exports, process transactions, respond to support requests, improve product quality, and maintain platform security.
Authentication
If Business Card Folio uses Firebase Authentication or similar authentication services, account credentials and authentication tokens may be processed to sign you in securely and maintain access to your saved cards, preferences, and premium features.
User Content
Business Card Folio may store content you create in the app, including business card designs, profile fields, contact details, uploaded assets, QR code data, and customization preferences. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you add is lawful and that you have the right to use it.
Analytics and Diagnostics
We may use analytics, crash reporting, performance monitoring, and diagnostic tools such as Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or similar services to understand feature usage, identify errors, measure stability, and improve the overall app experience.
Advertising
If the app includes advertising, advertising partners may collect limited device or usage information to deliver, measure, and improve ads. Users who purchase premium or ad-free features may receive a reduced-ad or ad-free experience depending on the subscription or purchase terms.
In-App Purchases
If you purchase premium features through Apple App Store, Google Play, or other platform billing providers, payment information is generally processed by the platform provider and not stored directly by Business Card Folio. We may receive transaction status, purchase confirmation, and related metadata needed to unlock premium access.
Data Storage and Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Data may be stored using cloud infrastructure and third-party services that support app operation.
Children’s Privacy
Business Card Folio is not intended for children under the age of 13, or a higher minimum age where required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate legal basis or consent where required.
Account Deletion
Users can request account deletion from the Settings screen in the app by using the Delete Account button. Users may also request deletion by email if they cannot access the app. For full instructions, visit the Delete Account page.
